The new Royal Derby hospital will be a landmark development in the provision of healthcare for the people of Derbyshire and beyond.

With facilities that will more than live up to its 'super hospital' description, the Royal Derby will become one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. It will provide 1,159 beds, 35 operating theatres and 7,400 rooms.

Screeduct was specified for this prestigious project because of its high quality, flexibility, ease of installation and bespoke solutions.

Galvanised steel trunking to various depths and sizes was supplied, 80% of which was
custom-designed.

Much of the trunking was compartmentalised and some very large sizes were accommodated.
